Mike Burns (born May 14, 1962) is a former head men's basketball coach at Eastern Washington University. On May 30, 2007, Burns was relieved of his duties as head coach after three seasons.〔(ESPN website )〕 Eastern Washington subsequently reported itself to the NCAA on possible violations.

For 2007-2008, Burns was head coach at Community Colleges of Spokane, leading the team to a 30-2 record and year-long #1 ranking in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges league.〔(Spokesman Review )〕
